Global Priorities Institute

The Global Priorities Institute is a proposed cause prioritization research center, based in Oxford.1

History

The center grew out of a project run by the Centre for Effective Altruism.2

The domain name for the website, globalprioritiesinstitute.org, was registered in July 2017.3

As of October 2017, the center is based at Oxford University but is still “undertaking the university procedures for becoming an Oxford institute”.4
