Basic income

See for instance “Could basic income be a vaccination against poverty that ultimately saves more money than it costs?”. I’m not sure how important this cause is, but there does seem to be a sizable online community around this, e.g. at The Basic Income Community on Reddit • /r/BasicIncome.

Could help with Misallocation of Talent in some cases

As income inequality increases due to increasing automation and decreasing relevance of sub 130 iq individuals, this may be a viable way to keep them happy
